In 2021 the Research Consortium for Health Care Value Assessment spearheaded a series of posts in Health Affairs Forefront entitled Enhancing Value by Evaluating Health Care Services to inform a better understanding of the value of the health care resources across the entire spectrum of care, including procedures, screenings, and other services.
Building on this foundation, the Consortium is taking the next step to address gaps in research guidance to advance the generation of health technology assessment across the health system by forming the Broader Value Initiative: Towards More and Better Value Assessments for Health Services and Procedure.
The Research Consortium for Health Care Value Assessment is a partnership with VBID Health, with funding from the PhRMA Foundation as part of its Value Assessment Initiative, established to promote the pursuit of value in health care delivery in the U.S. Follow us at @ValueConsortium.
